By holding two toes together with fine gel cushioning, you can eliminate pressure sores and abrasions caused by their friction. It can also be used for a hammer/claw toe, which straightens itself and aligns to the toe next to it due to the splint. Toes in a fabric wrap be better directed and straightened.
